The workshop was under a theme “MOM” (Motivation Ownership Maintenance)
Warm up Activity
Teachers were put in TEAMS for the activities of the day
To achieve the purpose of the workshop, teachers were put into Teams. Five teams were created and Team captains and vice captains were chosen. Teachers were assigned to different Teams and stood behind their Captains.

ACTIVITIES OF THE DAY
To achieve the theme ‘MOM”, three activities were assigned to the teachers as part of participation.
The first activity came from the letter M on the MOM.
MOTIVATION
Teams were requested to chose a part of the body where they can be tied then move as a team from point A to point B using their own system.
The second activity came from the letter O
OWNERSHIP
The teams were supposed to move buckets of water from point A to point B regardless of time but to make sure they reach the other end with enough water.
The last activity came from the letter M
MAINTENANCE
In this activity Teams were given carpentry tools and pieces of wood to produce a stool.

After everyone was served with food, all went and enjoyed in the lake
By 4:30, teachers boarded the buses back to Lilongwe.
